Show Kountry Katies . . . The Kountry Katies were entertained enter-tained at the home of Maijorie Boshard last Wednesday. Members present were Beulah Rowley, Le-mira Le-mira Bishop. Phyllis Davis, Marjorie Boshard, Nellie Stanworth, Myrna Turner, LaRee Davis, Rae Jensen and Rosabeth Nickle. Guests were Nora Wallace, Lois Hinckley, and Virginia Wisdom. Prizes were won by Mrs. Wisdom, LaRee Davis and Mrs. Hinckley. M-S Glade Wright, whose home is in Phoenix, Arizona, visited in Delta and Hinckley during the week with their brothers and sisters sist-ers here. They had been in Provo to visit Mrs. Wright's mother. M-S Harold Pope, and their two daughters and son, visited in Delta, driving down Saturday from Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Mrs. Pope and children remained re-mained here for a week's visit with her sister, Mrs. Frank Lieberman, and Mr. Pope will join them again at the weekend to take them home Sunday. M-S Marvin Wallway spent Sunday Sun-day in Delta as guests of M-S Frank Lieberman. They were returning re-turning to their home in Monticello after a trip in California. r Paul Whicker is in Salt Lake City recovering from an operation he underwent recently. 'William N. Gardner, and his daghter, Mrs. Lucile Johnstone and E. E. McLeod, from Salt Lake City visited in Delta over Saturday and Sunday with M-S Orran Ashby and M-S E. E. Gardner. Mrs. Maxine Peterson, from Salt Lake City, is visiting with her husband's, hus-band's, Lt. Richard Peterson, parents, par-ents, M-S Noble Peterson. Miss Josephine Mortensen, who has been spending hep vacation in Delta with her parents, M-S J. R. Mortensen, returned this week to San Francisco. Miss Frances Calligan, nutrition field representative for the Red Cross is visiting the West Millard chapter in Delta this week. Mrs. Alice Gardner is chairman of the nutrtion service for the local chapter. |
