Show North Tract ... Mrs. J. B. Walker I'll bet is seemed mighty good to Charlie Barben to stand on the new wide street in Delta and to shake hands with all oi the home folks: because that's how it is on a Saturday afternoon. Almost every ev-ery North Tracker that can make it, you can meet on the streets. We were glad to meet Charles friend who had been with him all thru the campaign in Europe. M-S Dewey Sanford attended the funeral of an aunt of Dewey's in Salt Lake City last Friday. M-S Kent Reid and family visited last week at the Foote home. Mr. Reid has been released from the armed forces. Harold Woods returned home on ! Saturday of last week. He has been j in the northwest working in a ship yard. He willTemain here until the deer season. Among town visitors are Miss Shirley Jackson and Miss Ailene Henderson. M-S Max Thornton and family visited last week at the Thorntons. They are movng from Los Angeles to Fillmore. Mrs. Thornton will be employed as a teacher there. Miss Julia Thornton is home from Salt Lake City where she has been attending at-tending the U of U summer school. The daughters in the ward are practicing up plenty for the mothers' moth-ers' and daughters' Softball game on Thursday, a feature of the ward reunion. Miss Marjorie Moody is home on vacation. She returns to her work at the end of this week. We'll see you at the Sutherland ward party Thursday evening. So long, Jay Bee. |
