He had Just completed com-pleted contracting with the Xewton people. Mr. Hyde states shat the acreage contracted for 1!04 Is about equal to that or last year. The farmers there prefer waiting wait-ing a short time to find out the true condition of their land after It has received such a severe soaking. Everything Ev-erything considered, a larger acreage Is expected fiom Lewlston than in jears past. The larger acreage In this county means more money In the fall for the people. There Is no need of a man or a boy leaving home for work now, as there Is plenty at home, brought here by the advent of the sugar factory, which has pioon a &ieat blessing to Cache Valley. When oys can be furnished enployment at a lucrative figure and be kept under the parental care, the Institution thus furnishing the labor should receive the undivided suppoit of every man In Cache county. As a mark of ap-pieclatlon, ap-pieclatlon, and also as a consideration that Is due the factory fiom being heavy tax pajcrs, they should have a llrst class road built from Logan to the factory. Many visitors come to Logan, too, but are unable to go to the factory owing to the bad condi-slon condi-slon of the road In beet hauling time the road from Logan to the factory fac-tory is literally covered with teams right today.
