During the past few years annual reports of the different bureaus bu-reaus lias been published, thereby making public the actual conditions of the country pertaining to labor questions, among other things showing show-ing the number of persons employed, the total and average wages paid employes, the number of dajs that the working establishments were in operation during each, also the comparative com-parative value of all products raised. It Is readily seen that such reports or statistics enables one to sec from year to year, the degree of prosperity or dcpiesslon in Industry, and their effects upon the laboring classes. In making out these reports nothing but ofllcial figures can be used.
