Show Rotary enters Final Week Undefeated Rotary scored in the two digits in both games last week to remain undefeated with one week of season play left. It was 2fi to 4 over Milne with Pearson and Birrell sharing mound duties. Birrell led the scoring with three doubles and doubles were hit by Cleve Weaver and L. Palmer. Milne's scoring was led by a homerun by Simkins and doubles bv Ipson and R. Stubbs. The week ended with Rotary 31, Bettridge 3. Winning pitchers were Pearson, Birrell, and C. Weaver. The scoring onslaught on-slaught was led by a homerun and double by Birrell with doubles being hit by Cleve Weaver (2), Pearson (2), T. Palmer (2), and L. Palmer. Messer doubled for Bettridge. Other play during the week showed Coleman 8, 7-Up 7-Up O with Childs and Nickerson pitching; Spils-Graf Spils-Graf 19, Kiwanis 1 with Lambeth going the distance on the mound and Carter Bros. 14 to Bettridge 8. In the latter game R. Dean went the distance on Ihe mound and got a double. Teammates also getting doubles were K. Bonzo. R. Thomas, and K. Roseberg. R. Knight doubled lor Bettridge. S. Hammer pitched his team 7-1 'p to a 3-0 victory over Kiwanis with Piacitelli doubling. Spilsbury Graff squeaked by Coleman 13-12 in a tight one. Winning pitchers were Blackner, Hulet, und Lambeth. Doubles were hit by Woolsey (2), B. Flestead, Lambeth (2) and Barney. Hitters for Coleman were Nickerson, Kunz and Stokes with doubles. It was a close one for Milne in their 4-3 victory over Carter Bros. Pitchers Ipson and Simkins doubled.
