Show Reception honors Bunn By I.clah Wilson Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star, hosted a reception Sunday afternoon, July 16, honoring Mrs. Lucille Bunn, Grand Lecturer. The reception took place in the Masonic Temple dining room which was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements. Refreshment tables were covered with lace-trimmed, white linen cloths centered with Shasta daisies and baby breath in cut glass brandy snifters. Refreshments were served buffet style with Veronica Keene at the punch bowl and Audrey Coe at the coffee urn. Winifred Thompson presided over the guest book. Sixty-one guests called during the afternoon. Distinguished guests were Worthy Grand Matron Marguerite C. Butler, Provo; Ireta C, Irvine, Grand Treasurer and Betty McClintic. Associate Grand Conductress, Salt Lake City ; . Ruth Darrington, Grand Marshal, Ogden; Gustin O. Gooding, Past Grand Patron, Cedar City; Florence and Walter Ray, Past Grand Matron and Past Grand Patron of the Nevada Grand Jurisdiction. Other out of town guests were Larry Butler, Provo; Clayton and Bernice Lewis, Lexington, Kentucky; David and Jean Love, Caliente, Nevada ; Alice Van Horn and Mary Nickels, Milford; Bentley, Wanda Benson and Joan Mortensen, Parowan. SMILING COOKERS Last week at their meeting the Smiling Cookers practiced prac-ticed making Easy Desserts. Maria Michie, Stephanie Graf, and Mary Katherine Jarvis made Vanilla Pudding Pud-ding and Marta Chidester, Allison Williams, and Erin Brown made Tapioca Pudding. , |
