Show Police busy over Holiday Weekend A burglary and a theft occurred in Cedar City over the long holiday week, according to a report from the Cedar City Police Department. The burglary occurred at the Hyland Drive In sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday. The south door of the snack door was broken in and candy, wieners and popcorn were taken. Also the door on the ice machine was broken. No other items or damage was reported. Norman R. Sherratt, 18, was apprehended ap-prehended Sunday, July 23 by Officer Grant and charged with theft. Responding to a call from a citizen the police investigated and charged Sherratt with theft of a battery from an Iron County School District Pickup parked in the Junior High School Parking lot. |
