Show Von Wyman named to Travel Council Von B. Wayman, Richfield, Rich-field, has been named to the board of commissioners of the Utah Travel Council. Wayman was appointed to the seven-member travel board by Governor Scott M. Matheson to fill the unexpired unex-pired term of Karen Alvey, Kanab, who resigned. His term, which is effective immediately, runs through 1979. The travel council board of commissioners is a bipartisan bi-partisan body whose members represent an sections of the state. It is charged by the legislature with overseeing the Utah Travel Council's programs for promoting the state's scenic, recreational and historic attractions. Wayman has been employed em-ployed by the J. C. Penney Co. for 29 years-18 years as manager and 15 years in Richfield. He began his career with the firm in Price and has worked in Cedar City, Denver and Mt. Pleasant. |
