Show Rotary retains lead in American LL Archibald and a double for Heap. Gentry doubled for Spilsbury. Rotary soundly defeated Milne 13-7 with doubles by Jones, Reagan, and Palmer. Leader doubled for Milne. Later that week they racked up 20 points to Betteridge's 6 with ahomerun by Alan Pearson, a triple by Birrell and doubles by Jones, Birrell, T. Palmer, Cleve Weaver, and Chris Weaver. Darrell Little got a triple for the K. B. team. Carter Brothers was over Ken Betteridge 7-5 with a double by R. Dean while Fullmer and Tuckett doubled for the losers. Rotary held tightly to its undefeated status with one week and 3 couple of tough games to go in American League action. Doubles were hit by Hulet, Walker, and Heap with Walker making an inside the ballpark homerun. Spillsbury Graff kept up its winning streak with 13-1 victory over Coleman. Cardon hit a homerun and Lambeth, Hulet, and LaPour doubled. Milne overcame Carter Bros. 15-11 with doubles by Crawford, Leader, Smith and Morrell. Three doubles were hit by J. Whetman, two by Hunter and one by C. Whetman. |
