Show West Stake MIA schedules festival of music The Cedr West Stake MIA Music Festival will be presented pre-sented Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p. m. in the Cedar West Stake Center, it was announced announc-ed by Janice Olson, stake MIA music director. A 60-voice youth chorus will sing music especially programmed pro-grammed by the General Board of the MIA. Individual musical numbers will be provided pro-vided by the wards of Cedar West Stake. Those particgipating from the wards will be Brent Boy-ter, Boy-ter, Second Ward; Andrea Shirts, Seventh Ward; Julia Sorenson and Karen Knight, Sixth Ward;; Val Christensen, Eleventh Ward; Tamara Hunt, Eight Ward, and the June Lar-sen Lar-sen String Ensemble, Ninth Ward. Choraf accompanist is Mari-lyn Mari-lyn Hawley, stake organist for the MIA. Other accompanists will be Cleo Petty, Second Ward,, and Corinne Christensen, Christen-sen, Eleventh Ward. Jerald Hawley is master of ceremonies for the program. The public is invited to attend free of charge. |
