Show Final rites honor Hlma Earl Hyatt Funeral services honoring Alma E. Hyatt, former city electrician and prominent dairyman dai-ryman of the community, was held Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 2 p. m. in the First-Second Ward chapel. Hyatt died at his home, here Jan. 11. following a long illness. Second Ward Bishop Rupert S. . Hulet conducted the services serv-ices with Mrs. Irene Hyatt at the organ for prelude and postlude music. Speakere were Robert White and Richard T. Harris with remarks by Bishop Hulet. Family prayer was offered offer-ed by Kenneth Rowley. The invocation at the services was by Hyatt Bentley, the closing prayer was by Blaine Hyatt, and the grave in the Parowan City cemetery was dedicated by Bishop Delos Dalton. Musical numbers were a vocal vo-cal solo, "My Testimony" by Mrs. Mona Robison, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Jackie Robinson, Rob-inson, and a piano solo, "The Lord's Prayer" by Scott Potter. Pallbearers were Scott L. Orion, Or-ion, Boyd Stevens, Jim Hyatt, Gerald Hyatt, Earl Hyatt and Milton Hyatt. Flowers were carried by grandchildren under un-der the direction of Mrs. Scott L. Orton. |
