I Mayor Loren Whetten pre-j pre-j sented five names for appointment ap-pointment and received ap-; ap-; proval from the council. They i included the reappointment of four Including Ellen A. I Simkins as city recorder for a four year term; L. Robert I Gardner to the City Attorney post; Haldow E. Christensen as justice of the p.eace and Orwin Green as Fire Chief. Dr. L. V. Broadbent was appointed ap-pointed as city physician and he will succeed Dr. David Brown to the post. Assignments for council-men council-men were made as follows: Robert C. Hansen: Airport, cemetery, Park, recreation park in Cedarr Canyon. He will also serve as a member of the Airport committee. Richard Stucki: Recreation, golf and ball parks, swimming swim-ming pool, real estate not otherwise assigned. He is a member of the Beautification and Recreation committees. Louis Webster: Water, sewer, sew-er, flood control, and also serves as a member of the city water board.
