Show Parowan 3rd Ward leads in church basketball program Basketball play in the Parowan Par-owan Stake league resumed last week after a holiday layoff lay-off with five games played, two in the M-Men and three in the Ensign division, according accord-ing to Richard Dotson, stake athletic director. Game results were as follows: M-MEN Enoch 54, Summit 46. Bill Sherratt led the winners with 18 points and Quenton Bowler Bow-ler contributed 15 to the Summit Sum-mit cause. Parowan Third, 42; Parowan First 41, in a hot one. Dennis! Lowder had 11 points for the winning team, but Bill Farr, of the losers, was high man with 16. ENSIGNS Parowan Third 83, Enoch 25. Keith Rollis led the winners with 32 points while Sherratt led the losers with 14. Paragonah 26, Summit 18. Joe Williamson was high man for the winners with 12 points and Jerry Bowler had eight for Summit. Parowan First 48, Parowan Second 25. Robert Rasmussen led the scoring for the winners win-ners with 19 points and Farnsworth Farns-worth had eight for the losers. This week's schedule, to be played Wednesday and Thursday Thurs-day night has the following games with times sot at 7 8 and 9 p. m. Wednesday, Jan. 21: Ensign, Enoch vs Second, Paragonah vs. 3rd. M- Men, Second vs. Third. Thursday, Jan. 22, Ensign: Summit vs First. M-Men: Enoch vs. First, and Summit vs. Second.
