Show SUSC coordinator slated at Institute forum John Q. Cannon, Coordinator Coordina-tor of Student aids at Southern South-ern Utah State College will b " " guest speaker at the LDS Student Stu-dent Association Forum to be held Tuseday, January 27. Mr. Cannon's subject will be "Things That Matter Most." Tht Forum will be held in the South Institute Building, beginning at 12 noon. John Q. Cannon, Jr. was born in Washington, D. C, and later lived for some years in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Bates College in Lewis-ton, Lewis-ton, Maine and a Master of Science degree in human development de-velopment and family relations rela-tions from Brigham Young University. Mr. Cannon has been employed em-ployed since July 1, 1967, as Coordinator of Placement and Financial Aid at Southern Utah State College. He enjoys working with young people. Ho is currently serving as President of the Staff Association Associa-tion at the College. Trior to coming to Utah he was distribution distri-bution analyst for Mobil Oil Co. in New York City. Mr. Cannon has ?rvcd in a number of positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Lat- ter-day Saints and has been active in the LDS athletic program. pro-gram. Tlie LDSSA Forums have been set up for the students, and also to meet their spiritual spirit-ual needs. All students are encouraged en-couraged to attend. |
