Officers of the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce meet with Mayor to have Jaycee week decreed. In attendance for the event were, left to right: Sam Cook, president; Mayor Loren Whetten, Whet-ten, Nathan Hansen, chairman of the DSA banquet; Val Schultz, internal vice president, and Brent Keldewyn, secretary. DURING NATIONAL OBSERVANCE Cedar City laycees plan for state convention gent; Bob Brown and Eddie Torres, convention book; Val Schultz and Keith Workman, R & R displays. Cedar City's "young men of action" are involved in many other community leadership activities and are proud to bring the Utah Jaycees to Cedar Ce-dar City. The Cedar City Jaycees are celebrating National Jaycee Week, January 19-25. In addition addi-tion to these activities the local lo-cal Jaycees are busy at work preparing to host the Utah Jaycees in Cedar City for the Annual State Convention, May 14-17. Monday evening a buffet was served in the small ballroom ball-room of the SUSC Student Center for sub-chairmen and their wives of all committees working on Convention '70. The following committee chairmen are working on Convention Con-vention '70, under the direction of Lynn Uibel, General Chairman. Chair-man.
