Show Cedar City Senior Little League to host four team tournament Cedar City will play host Friday and Saturday to a four-team four-team District tournament ol the Senior Little League baseball base-ball program. Participating will be teams from Milford, Parowan, Rich-1 field and host Cedar City. Opening game of the two-1 day affair will pit Parowan against Richfield Friday at 4 p.m. followed by Cedar City and Milford at 6:30 p.m. with first round winners slated to meet Saturday at 6:30 for the championship. First round losers los-ers will meet in a consolation game Saturday at 4 p.m. Winner of the district tournament tour-nament here will enter a one-game one-game state play-off against the other division winner also to be played in Cedar City on Saturday, July 31. The state winner will advance ad-vance to the sectional level of tournament to be held in Las Vegas, Nev. according to Wayne Meyers, Cedar City league president and tournament tour-nament director. This past week a 14 man tournament team to represent the Cedar City league was selected. Named to manage the team was Jim Cox, who has managed Utah Parks throughout the regular season. Coach will be Leland Black. j Members of the team by teams on which they played during the regular season, are as follows: Utah Parks: Kevin Cox, Mac Matheson and Ray Meyers. Cedar Glass: Joe Burns, Steve Jenson and Cornell Christensen. Southern Utah Mortuary: Mark Slack, Craig Rollo and Steve Hafen. California-Pacific: Bob Piatt, Robert Shirts and Coby Leavitt. Leav-itt.
