Alan Itobinson Is spending the summer working for the l'ark.s at ltryce Canyon. Hay Talbot of Kaysville ar-rived" ar-rived" heK on Saturday to spend a week with his father, Waller Talbot. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamor-eaux-of Orem and Mrs. Nina Hamilton and her little grand-daughter grand-daughter of Missoula, Montana Mon-tana visited her..' with the Chester Kobinsons for five days ending June 25th. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Smith and son Wesley of Lander, Wyoming arrived here Saturday Satur-day night to spend a week with Betty's people, Mr. and Mrs. Wilsqn Lund. On Sunday the Lund.s entertained en-tertained at a family dinner in hpnor of Ileber's and Betty's birthdays which came that day and on Monday. Present were th.e Smith family and gether for an enjoyable evening. even-ing. Mrs. Hurt ha S. Topham arrived ar-rived home on Saturday after a very eventful trip which took her to San Francisco to see her son LaNell graduate from Dental School. On June 15, Mr. and Mrs, Ivan Topham cani. from St. tieorge to lake her on the first part of the journey. After an over night stay here they drove Mrs. Topham to Delta to stay ov.?r night with the Doyle Topham family. From there she went to Salt Lake City to join her daughter, Mrs, Marie Berrie and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Clayson for the plane trip to San Francisco whera ihry spent several days with LaNell and his family. They enjoyed seeing such sights as China Town, the Oakland Temple and various points of in I.;1 rest. Mrs. Topham and Marie returned re-turned to Utah by car with llilman Stevens of Ogden and after a few more days in Kearns the Berrie family brought Mrs. Topham home. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Robinson Rob-inson and family of Richfield were Sunday visitors at the Calvin Robinson home. Hugh spent Monday here from Cedar City. Cedar City and with other family members was an over night guest of the Jim Hobbs in Salt Lake City. On Friday tli.e family attended at-tended the wedding of Miss Debores Ann Kite and Steven James Errlgo in the Salt Lake Temple. Tlv bride is the daughter of Mrs. Florence Kite of Clearfield and a neice ol Irenes. Chester Robinson trawled north on Friday to join his wife for the wedding reception held in Clearfield on Saturday evening and they returned home on Sunday. Mrs. Rosella Barton had all of her immediate family together to-gether this past week end and a fine reunion was held. Hank is on leave from his the Heber Lund and J. Lamarr Smith families of Cedar City. Mrs. Thelma Wood's sons Bill and Tom and the latters wife all of Salt Lake City were recent weekend visitors to Paragonah. They visited with the E. M. Edwards and Lewis Davenport families. Mr. and Mrs, Carlyle Mitchell, Mitch-ell, Mrs. Betty Stones and son Bruce of Cedar City and the Alan Stones family of Pa rowan ro-wan were Sunday guests at the D. Amasa Stones home. Billy Edwards has receivod a medical retirement from the Navy after being hospitalized for a time and is dividing his time among relatives in the area, Mrs. Stella Edwards was in Parowan June 23rd to attend duties in Vietnam and will be here with his family until the 16th and this was the occaa-sion occaa-sion for the get-together. Other family members present pre-sent included Mr. and Mrs. Bill Deil and family of Tooele, Gene Deil, Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mitchell and family, Yerrington, Nevada, Nev-ada, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Mickleson and son Brett, Weed Heights, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Barton and five children, Challis, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Orton and three children, Granger, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Burt and their two of Cedar City and the Bill Bar. ton family of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot and Judy traveled to American Ameri-can Fork on June 19th for a three day visit with the Arnold Arn-old Mellor family. On Friday evening family members joined jo-ined them from Salt Lake City and there were twenty-one to. the birthday celebration for her sister Mrs. Olive Edwards who was 88 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rose hosted the celebration. Mrs. Lula Bastian, Mrs. Sar-ah Sar-ah Stones, Miss Helen Stones and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton were to Parowan on Sunday to visit with Mrs. Alice Holy-oak Holy-oak on the occasion of her 92nd birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Ldand Lamoreaux Lamor-eaux of Henderson, Nev. were in town on Thursday of last week to visit at the Chester Robinson home. Mrs. Thomas V. Edwards of Salt Lake City visited at the Melva Barton home from Wednesday Wed-nesday to Saturday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Top. ham had two new great grand children added to their family in one day last week. On June 24th 3 girl was born to Joe and Nadine Heywood of Provo and a boy was born to Kenneth Ken-neth ahd Bonnie Topham of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Top-ham Top-ham celebrated their 53rd Wedding Anniversary on Sunday Sun-day and a lawn party and steak dinner was held at the Kenneth G. Topham home in honor of the occasion. Twenty one family members were present pre-sent to enjoy the affair, including in-cluding the Waldo Topham and McLean Simkins families of Cedar and the Fred Topham Top-ham and Kenneth Topham, Jr. families of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson and four younger daughters traveled to Salt Lake City on Thursday of last week to attend at-tend June Conference. They were accompanied by Mrs. Lola Lo-la Robb, Miss Vie Ann Williamson, Wil-liamson, Mrs. Idella Robinson and her granddaughters, Kathy Robinson of Parowan and Shanna Jolley of Cedar City. Mrs. Robinson and her granddaughters visited with the Gordon Manzione family in Tooele. Boyd and the girls went to Ogden to spend a night with the Victor Robinson family and visited with the . Cal Smiths in Sandy. They are .returning .re-turning home on Sunday. Wendy Robinson traveled to Salt Lake City with a group of Parowan young people last week to participate in the All-Church All-Church Dance Festival. Mr. Harry Martin of Sierra Madre, Calif, was leaving for home on Tuesday after a weeks stay at his summer home here. .... . 1 |
