These seven scouts of the Cedar Breaks District Dis-trict arc preparing for the Nation; Scout Jamboree to be held July 1G through 22 at Farragut State Park, Idaho. They met this past week in Provo to arrange travel with the Utah Parks Council. The group will leave Provo July 11, fly by air from Salt Lake City to Seattle with three nights and days of sightseeing in the Seattle Seat-tle area, including a trip to Victoria, British Columbia. They will fly from Seattle to Spokane and will go by bus from Spokane to the Jamboree. They will return to Salt Lake City on July 23 by air from Spokane. The Jamboree Jambor-ee will be attended by over 42,000 scouts and leaders from throughout the United States and foreign countries. coun-tries. Of this number 288 scouts and 24 leaders will make up the contingent contin-gent from the Utah National Parks Council, of which the Cedar group will be a part. |
