Show Pitch, hit, and throw ; contest winners ! enter state tests i ': The Cedar City Pilch, Hit and Throw contest, conducted by the Phillips GG was held Saturday and winners selected select-ed in four age groups to compote com-pote in state competition. All winners in the competition competi-tion received a warmup jacket jack-et and plaque with the runners run-ners up receiving warmup jackets. Each participant received re-ceived an arm patch. Competition was divided into acre croups and winners were announced as follows: 9 year olds: first, Colo Adams, Ad-ams, son of Mr- and Mrs. Frank Adams; second Eric Leavitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dixie Leavitt. 10 year olds: first, Charles A. Judd, son of Dr. and Mrs. Hail Judd; second, Eric Chamberlain, Cham-berlain, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVcll Chamberlain. 11 year olds: first, David Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wright; second Mike Jerome Jake, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jake. 12 year olds: first, Kevin Averett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Koith Averett; second, Mike Schaack, son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Schaack. State competition will be hold in Derks Field in Salt Lake City June 6- |
