JOHN HOLLO Cedar City student accepts internship John Rollo, completing his third year as a German and Political Science Major at Southern Utah State College, will work for three months this summer as an intern in the office of Utah Congressman Congress-man Sherman P. Lloyd, Re- . publican, Second District, Congressman Con-gressman Lloyd has announced. an-nounced. Rollo is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Rollo, Cedar City. He and his wife, the former Miss Tonya Burch, will leave Monday for the National Capitol Cap-itol to begin activities in the Congressman's office. Active in student government govern-ment affairs at the college, Rollo has served as Attorney General during the past year, and has been named ASSUSC Executive Secretary of Publications Publi-cations for the 1970-71 school year. During the 1969-70 school year he has served as President of the SUSC Young Republicans organization. He has also served as a sports-writer sports-writer for the Thunderbird, school newspaper, during his attendance at the college. Following his freshman year at college, Rollo served a mission in Austria for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mr. and Mrs. Rollo plan to return to their studies at SUSC at the opening of school next fall. |
