Chamberlain is seeking to succeed suc-ceed former Republican attorney attor-ney Robert L. Gardner, who is not running for re-election. Iron County Republicans j will hold their county conven- tion June 5 at the county courthouse in Parowan. I Convention delegates, select-i select-i ed at district mass meetings, will meet at 7:30 p. m., ac- cording to Harl Judd, county Republican chairman- Dele-l Dele-l gates to the staate convention will be selected No county nomination contest J nor primary contest will be ' decided; only one Republican candidate for each of the county officers has filed with the county clerk. Only in two precinct justice positions have Republicans failed to file. Major Iron County election contests are expected in the races for state representative, two-year commissioner and four-year commissioner. Candidates seeking office include J.
