Show Parents are guests at Letterman Club awards dinner The Lcttermen's Club at the Parowan High School held its annual dinner and awards night at the school last week, with the parents of the let-ermen let-ermen as guests at the event. During the evening, the election elec-tion of officers for the next school year was held, a brief program was had, with Jay Monsen, Sportscaster for Radio Station KSUB as master of ceremonies and trophies and awards were presented to outstanding out-standing athletes for the past year in each sport. The dinner was served by the Rammettes Club at the .school. 1970-71 officers of the club will be Tom Gurr, president; Gaiy Jones, vice president; Allan Adams, secretary, and Jcfi Taylor, reporter. Award recipients and the sports activity they excelled in were: John Dalley and Craig Row- ley, tennis; Paul Dotson, golf; Kenneth Adams, baseball; Reed Rowley, track; Dale Northington, wrestling; Les Topham, basketball; Doug Robinson, football; Robert Rasmussen, academic award, trophy; Rick Durbin, the most inspirational, and Kevin Robinson, Rob-inson, all-around award in |
