Show L.D.S. Temple rites unite Letevre-Nielson Rites solemnized in the St. George Temple March 13 united un-ited Miss Cliri.stine LeFevre and Clark A. Wielson in marriage. mar-riage. President Rudger Atkin oiiieiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver D. LeFevre LeFev-re of Cedar and the bridegroom bride-groom is the son of Mr. and Mis. Khen lNielson of Henderson, Hender-son, Nev. Tile newlyweds were honored hon-ored that same evening at a reception in the Cedar West SlaKo House decorated in the bride's chosen colors of orange or-ange and gold. The bride's A line lace dress featured an empire waist and was trimmed with sequins. A full length train was formed by three lace tiers also trimmed trim-med witli sequins. The elbow length veil was attached to a petaied headpiece centered Willi rhinestones. She carried a white orchid and tiny orange or-ange rosebuds. Mrs. Steven (Vickie) LeFevre Le-Fevre was matron of honor and tlie other attendants were Misses Trudy Clark and Mar-cia Mar-cia LeFevre, and Mrs. Paul (Sharon) Nelson, They wore floor length gowns of orange' satin with gold sequin trim and long sleeves. Their bouquets bou-quets were spider mums. Paul Nelson was best man, and ushers weie Robert, Steven, Stev-en, Carl, Teddy, Larry, and Darrin LeFevre. The mothers wore orange street dresses with white orchid or-chid corsages. Grandparents in attendance at the recepiion Included Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Jackson of Cedar, Mrs. Clark of Parowan, and Mr. and Mrs. Nielson of Washington. The bridegroom's aunt presided pre-sided at the guest book, and Miss Becky Davis took care of the gifts. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Laitene Bradshaw and two of her daughters and Misses Karen Esplin, Roxanne Metcalf, and Elaine Goddard. The family Indicated their gratitude to the many friends who attended the reception and wished the newlyweds well. The bride chose an egg shell Linen with white dacron bodice as her going away costume. The long puffed sleeves were very feminine with the sleeveless linen jacket which completed the ensemble. The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed in Northern Utah. The bride graduated from Cedar High and Is presently attending SUSC where she is a senior majoring in Elementary Elemen-tary Education. The bridegroom spent two years in Canada on a mission for the LDS Church and is now attending SUSC where ho is majoring in Commercial Photography for Advertising. Pre-nuptial courtesies included in-cluded a Miscellaneous shower show-er given for the bride by Misses Paula Porter, Trudy Clark, Kathy Johnson, and Mrs. Sharon Nelson. The party was given at the Clark home. |
