Show Relief Societies -observe birthday Members of the three Parowan Par-owan Ward Relief Societies, observed that organization's birthday on Tuesday, Mar. 17. The First and Second Wards (iCmet together in their ward .othapel. A skit, directed by orMrs. Willis Robinson and Mrs. . ! 'Leon Robinson, was presented, p.i after which Miss Rhonda Hin-ton Hin-ton played two numbers on an accordion, Miss Jolene Stubbs played a piano solo, and the Singing Mothers sang two numbers. Following the program the iirgroup went to the banquet .njiall where they were served I! a luncheon prepared by the banquet committee, with Mrs. Nevada Adams and Mrs. Pearl Stevens in charge. Special ta- ible decorations were placed by Mrs. Joe Ridley, Mrs. George Clinch and Mrs. Birl Penney. The Third Ward met in the Relief Society room where a panel was held, explaining .the value of the great organisation organi-sation to young mothers. Mrs. iJKathy R. Shakespeare repre-jisanted repre-jisanted the young mothers, .wth President Connie Halter-man Halter-man and all class leaders participating. Mrs Arnold O. jiGurr arranged the panel. 1 1 The Singing Mothers sang 'two numbers after which a 'Ihmcheon was served by the banquet committee with Mrs. i;Lowell Caldwell in charge. Ta--ble decorations were incharge 'of Mrs. Bert Felstead. !; All women residing in the three wards over 75 years of ""age were honored and present pre-sent with a small gift. |
