Students at Cedar High School will be among the exhibitors at the Annual Amateur Art Exhibit which will open Saturday. Amateur art show opens Saturday ' each artist is requested to enter en-ter only two pieces. Professor Anderson requested request-ed that all entries be framed with picture wire attached so that displays can be arranged quickly and conveniently. Modest prizes will be a-warded a-warded in several categories, said Mr. Anderson and 1 Smart. A special display of crafts from the Iron Counly Schools will be included in the exhibit ex-hibit this year. All students from the county interested in entering items in this exhibit are asked to contact Anderson at the High School or Mrs. Smart, chairman of the amateur ama-teur show. Amateur artists in the five-county five-county area are invited to participate in the second annual an-nual Cedar Amateur Art Show which will be held in the Cedar Ce-dar Junior High Gym March 28 through Aoril 4. 1970. Entries will be received after af-ter 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, and should be claimed before 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, according to Professor1 Glen Dale Anderson and Mrs. Arlene M. Smart, co-chairmen of the event. ) Nearly 100 artists entered some 200 pictures in last year's show, and the committee commit-tee hopes for even larger participation par-ticipation this year, announced announc-ed Mrs. Smart.
