Show Final rites held for Albert M. Robb Wednesday Funeral services honoring Albert M. (Mel) Robb, of Par-wan Par-wan were held Wednesday of last week at 2 p. m. in the Parowan Third Ward chapel. Mr. Robb died Sunday evening eve-ning in a Salt Lake hospital. The services were conducted i by Bishop Hyatt Bentley and Itha Mortensen, was at the organ for prelude and post-lude post-lude music. Speakers were Newel Wasden and Ivan Robb with remarks given by Bishop Bish-op Bentley. Howard Ward offered the invocation, the benediction was offered by Walt Morten sen' and the grave in the Parowan Par-owan City cemetery was dedicated dedi-cated by Howard Joseph. The family prayer was by Calvin Robb. Musical numbers for the service included two songs by a ladies quartet, "In the Garden of Tomorrow", and "Oh My Father", and a vocal duet, "Beyond the Sunset" by Whitney and Rula D. Orton. Members of the quartet were Janet Jones, Katrine Johnson, Jackie Robinson and Merna Mitchell and Itha Mortensen was accompanist for all three. Pallbearers were three nephews, neph-ews, Ronald and Milton Mortensen Mor-tensen Mortensen and Frank Decker and three brothers-in-law, Delbert, Bart and Ward Mortensen. The flowers were carried by nieces. Attending the services from outside the area were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Robb, daughter Linda, Lin-da, and Mr. and Mrs. John Kozloriski, Santa Barbara; Charles Motgomery, Los Angeles, An-geles, Milton Mortensen and children and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Greca, Las Vegas; Mr. Mrs. Dell Holyoak, Milford; and Mrs. Kelsey Ware, Decatur, Deca-tur, Ala.; Mrs. Geneva Jones, St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hudson, Bonanza, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mortensen, Morten-sen, Paradise, Calif. Mrs. Beth Montgomery, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Max Edward, Napa, Cal. |
