Show UtahShakespearean Festival Guild enrollment started The - 1969" " enrollment of members, in the Utah Shakespearean Shake-spearean "Festival' Guild has ' started. Gustin . O. Gooding, President wi the Guild, reports that early enrollment is very encouraging with 61 members already listed. "This is still a long way from our goal of 300 members," Gooding said, "But we are still confident of reaching our goal." Membership in the Guild is accomplished by a donation of $5.00 per person - $10.00 for husband and wife. The entire en-tire receipts are donated to the Festival. Donations are tax de-ductable. de-ductable. Checks should , be made out to Stiakespeareri Festival Guild and sent to Gustin O. Gooding, Box 646, Cedar City. These donations not only help the Festival financially, but the' listing of members in the Festival programs demonstrates demon-strates to major contributors -Foundations, corporations, individual in-dividual benefactors and government gov-ernment funds - that the Fes- j tival has wide-spread local support." The Festival is a good thing for our community. It attracts visitors from all over the country coun-try and encourages passers-through passers-through to linger longer. It adds to the staure of our community. com-munity. It provides immeasurable immeasur-able cultural opportunity for our children. With opening night only three weeks away it is important im-portant that all who wish to share in this support of the Festival, do so right away. |
