Show NEWCASTLE by Norma Christensen Mr. and Mrs. Ken Reber of Anaheim, Calif., were recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet. Mr. and Mrs. Veron (Colleen) (Colle-en) Gilbert and family of Grantsville, were visitors last Week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis. Also Visiting at the Tullis home were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Tullis and sons of Cedar City. Recent visitors at the Darwin Dar-win Hulet home were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Daniels of Central, and Mrs. Devere Alger of St. George. Also staying at the Hulet home last week were Kiiiby Relber and Kirk Bingham Bing-ham of Ogden. These two young men and Darwin and ReVoe's daughter, Darla, were in an automobile accident In which they were all injured slightly. Mrs. Arthella Taylor of Fillmore Fil-lmore was a recent visitor at the home of her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Beacham. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Asay of Provo were visitors last week at the homes of some of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox and Boyd Russell Christensen families. Mrs. Asay is the former Saxon Forsyth, New Castle. Mrs. Bea Watson traveled to Las Vegas, Nev. last week- end to Visit her husband Bill Watson who Is employed there. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Snow were visltore at the Boyd Christensen home on Saturday. We have had three ot pur residents hospitalized in the last little while. Valerie Hart, daughter Of Mr., and Mrs. Trusten Hart; Mrs. Janice Woods and Mrs. Janet Hors-ley Hors-ley all have been surgical patients at the Valley View Medical Center. Valerie ' and Janice are home now and recuperating re-cuperating nicely. Janet is still in the hospital. Word was received that Melvin Hulet suffered a heart attack and is presently In critical condition in the St. George Hospital. Melvin is a former resident and Bishop of New Castle. The formal opening and dedication of the National Mustang Association Ranch at Barkley ,Nev. was held last Saturday at the ranch site. Tom Holland of New Castle Is the president of the association. The dedication was held at 10 an. and a dutch oven dinner was served at 1 pjn. to all in attendance. They estimated that there were over 500 persons in attendance, at-tendance, with buses coming from Boise, Idaho; Las Vegas, Nev; and numerous individuals individ-uals from many parts of the country. Those in charge of the affair deemed It very successful. |
