Show Cedar City Chapter of 0ES holds April meeting Cedar Chapter Xo. 20, Order of the Eastern Star, met Monday Mon-day April 10, at the Masonic Temple. Mrs. Ethel Stark, Worthy Matron, and Alvin Wright Worthy Patron, presided. pre-sided. Gaye Thurston, Conductress introduced Gustin O. Gooding, Worthy Grand Patron, Gerald-ine Gerald-ine T. Gooding, Grand Warder of the Grand. Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star cf Utah. Florence and Walter Ray, Past Grand Matron and past Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star cf Nevada, and Grand Representatives, Repre-sentatives, Marie T. Bunnell and Jean Love were also introduced. in-troduced. Visitors welcomed for the evening were from Mary Chapter, No. 23, Caliente, Nev. and included the following, Ralph and Ruth Moorehead, Evelyn Conaway, Mary Marsh, Helen A. Conaway, Dorothy Miller, Mary White, Favell Hubert, and David and Jean Love. The Loves are also members of Cedar Chapter No. 20. Honorary Life Membership from Cedar Chapter No. 20 was presented to Walter and Florence Ray, of Mary Chapter Chap-ter No. 23, of Caliente, by Worthy Matron Ethel Stark and Alvin Wright, Worthy Patron. Final plans were discussed and made t0 receive the Wor-" thy Grand Matron, Worthy Grand Patron and associate Grand Officers of the Grand Chapter on their official visitation visi-tation to Cedar Chapter May 6. Following the meeting refreshments re-freshments were served in the dining Room by Lelah Wilson, Marie Bunnell and Candace Ewing. The Tables were decorated in the Easter theme. |
