Members of the Regional MIA Music Committee plan festival activities to be held Tuesday, April 25. Committee members not pictured pic-tured include Marlene Riddle, Karen Marie Whiting, and Hal Campbell. Region Artists, Chorus Festival Scheduled render a piano solo "Valse Romantique." A violin solo, "It's Peaceful Here," by Rachmaninoff Rach-maninoff will be given by Lu- j Anne Judd. The event promises to be a musical treat for all age groups. There will be no admission ad-mission charge, regional directors di-rectors indicated. The Regional MIA Young Artists and Choral Festival will be staged Tuesday, April 25 at 8 p.m. at the Cedar High School auditorium. The public pub-lic is cordially invited to attend. at-tend. Preparations for the event have been in the process for several weeks and the program pro-gram will highlight a combined com-bined youth chorus from throughout the Cedar Region of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and feature fea-ture oustanding artists from various Stake Festivals already al-ready held. Conductors for the Festival will be James Dunaway, Shirley Shir-ley Roper and J.Phillip Hanks. Accompanists are Marilyn Hawley and Jackie Robinson. Bass Viola will be handled by Scott Potter, Also performing at the Festival Fes-tival will be the Cedar High School Orchestra. Guest soloists iwill include Xlarinet Concerto" by Mozart Moz-art with David Piatt on the clarinet and Gaye Stuck! on the piano. Keith Lawrence will |
