Boyd Robinson, who has served for the past seven years was released along with' his counselors, Myron Abbott and Homer Boardman. He has served in the bishopric in Duchesne. daughter, Annette of Salt Lake City, were here Friday to spend the weekend with Bob's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot. Tal-bot. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham enjoyed an overnight visit from their neice, Mrs. Sandra Stroud of Salt Lake City last week. - Mrs. Sarah Robinson traveled travel-ed to Richfield Friday with her son, Hugh of Cedar City. The two visited overnight with the Clinton Robinson family and also saw the Gerald Robinson Rob-inson family before returning home. Mrs. ; Zelma Robb traveled to Salt Lake City Friday to attend at-tend a meeting of the Demo- Mr. and Mrs. Cal Smith, daughters, Dona and Diane and sons, Shan, Monte and Kirk, all of Sandy were weekend week-end visitors here with members mem-bers of the William T. Davenport Daven-port family. Shan recently returned from a mission to South Africa and was one of the speakers in sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man Board-man left fr Denver, Colo, on Wednesday of last week where Leah Jean was hospitalized for another treatment on her eyes. They expected to be gone about a week. Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson Rob-inson left for Spring City Sunday Sun-day for an overnight stay with relatives and to attend the funeral for Idella's uncle, Hy-rum Hy-rum Jensen. Mrs. Alice jones ten tor Plain City Sunday to spend the week with the Legrande Leigh family while Carolyn is in the hospital for corrective face surgery. Mrs. Miriam Anderson traveled trav-eled to Murray on Tuesday to spend a few days with her sister, Mrs. Harold Ray of Prineville, Ore. Mrs. Ray came to Utah to welcome a new grandchild and took time for other activities while she was here. Mrs. Pauline Topham spent a good share of last week in Panguitch with her father, Joseph Miller, who is critically ill in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Talbot and Mrs, Lois Orton was guests of honor at a. birthday dinner at the Wells Orton home in Parowan Sunday. The family members arranged the affair as a surprise for their mother. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roy Orton and family of Santa Fe Springs, Spr-ings, Calif, arrived here Saturday Sat-urday for a visit with the Clark L. Orton family. They came to greet Douglas when he returned home from Vietnam. Viet-nam. Douglas arrived, here Monday Mon-day after his year overseas and will have a month leave before going to Fort Lewis, Wash, to complete his service. He is scheduled for release in October. Miss lern Dalton of Cedar City was a weekend visitor here with the Paul Elmore family and Mrs. Nina Robb. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Morten-sen Morten-sen and son Bret of Cedar City were weekend visitors at the Clark Lamoreaux home. Alan Robinson traveled to Logan Fridy to participate in a High School golfing event. Mrs. Lana Stonebreaker and her small son, Jeffery and Mrs. Patsy Cutler and her baby traveled to Salt Lake City on Sundy to keep an appointment with a specialist for young Jeffery. The boy has not made a complete recovery from his recent accident with a car. Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Stones were Sunday visitors in Cedar City with the Carlyle Mitchell family. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson Robin-son and granddaughter, Deb-ra Deb-ra Robinson, traveled to Cedar City Sunday for the High School Spring Concert. |
