Assistant editor will be Ann Orton, right, who steps into the editor's post the following year. Publications heads for 69-70 named at Parowan High During the past week appointments ap-pointments have been made to the publications staff at the Parowan High School. The appointments ap-pointments are of students who will have charge of editing edit-ing the school newspaper, The Tel-a-Eama and the school yearbook, The ParaRama. The appointments went to the following fol-lowing students: Miss Joan Decker, faculty advisor for the school newspaper, news-paper, announces that the 1969-70 editor will be Miss Michelle Decker and the co-editor co-editor will be Miss Ann Orton. Miss Docker, daughter of Principal Prin-cipal and Mrs. Bruce Decker has been co-editor of the paper pap-er during the year which is ending, as an assistant to Miss Barbara Stones who has been editor. The new assistant editor is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Orton, and will become the editor of the paper during the 1970-71 year according to tradition. tra-dition. The paper staff for this year has worked hard and , long in collecting the news and preparing the editions of the publication. Miss Rhonda Mitchell, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Mitchell, will serve as editor of the yearbook, ParaRama. She is assistant editor for this year's annual. Miss Susan Tullis, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Tullis, will act as assistant editor for the coming year, and will automatically become editor-in-chief the following year. William Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Adams will continue as head photograph- er wiin iviiss Liorraine Kowiey daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Rowley and Mike McKee, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mc-kee Mc-kee as assistants. Miss Sheri Price, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Whitlock, will be business manager. Miss Sherry Dawn Dalton, the 1968-69 editor and her staff announce that this year's annual will be distributed on Monday of next week. Mrs. Lollin Orton and Principal Prin-cipal Decker are the faculty advisors to the yearbook staff. |
