Show Parowan Chamber reorganized, asks more support Tlh' Parowan Chamber of Commerce, which has been inactive in-active for some time, was reorganized re-organized recently with an election oi' officers. Since that time these new officers have named new members of the board of directors with each to head a project committee, we are told. David Orton was elected to head the chamber at the election, elec-tion, with Howard Joseph as vice president and Wayne Her-mansen Her-mansen as secretary and treasurer. trea-surer. Benson, at chairman of Education com mittee, and Mel Eyre, to head agriculture committee. Orton states that a meet Ing of the above group wil. be held bi-weekly, that is every ev-ery other Wednesday evening, probably in the county courthouse, court-house, and they urge that any one who has ideas to advance or projects they would like to put before the chamber, to attend. They also urge that all citizens of the communi- ty give their support to the organization. The officers also state that a drive for membership in the chamber is to get under way right away, in order to get funds with which to finance fi-nance chamber projects, and they ask support is this campaign cam-paign from everyone. |
