Moyle The December meeting of the Women of the Escalante Valley v. as hAd at the home of Mrs. uith Force with the outgoing oificers, President Mary Moyle Vice President Mildred Peterson and Secretary Edith Force as hostesses. The group enjoyed , singing Christmas carols with Miriam McGarry at the piano, after which the evening was spent playing yatchazee. Refreshments Re-freshments were served by the holiday hostesses and the women wo-men exchanged gift packages by passing them around the circle to the rhythm of holiday ' music. Each person present received re-ceived a hostess gift along with a Christmas candle. HAPPY SECRETS A Christmas Cantata was presented pre-sented by the Escalante Valley School just before Christmas. The teachers and children worked work-ed hard to prepare this performance. perform-ance. ' HERE AND THERE ' ' "Airforceman Steven Jones, son ';of Mr- and Mrs. Richard Jones is ''home on a 30 day leave. Mr. and "Mrs. Jones and their daughter Carolyn motored to Las Vegas last Wednesday to meet their son who flew from Kincheloe Air Force Base in Michigan, -where he has been stationed since May. He will return to the base on Jan. 21. Miss Dianne Wood was home from Provo where she is attending at-tending a beauty school. " Mr. and Mrs. Neal Bracken, their daughter Mary Jane and two sons, Errol and Alma met ' with Marvin and Evelyn Bracken Brack-en of Woodruff, Ariz, at the home of their .son and daughter-in -. law Elflon and Bobby Bracken at "Wasco, Calif, for the Christmas holiday. The Brackens returned Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walters and family spent the holidays at Kaysville with Mr, Walter's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. F. L.
