Dover i Succumbs, j Last Rites Accorded Final rites were accorded Lucy I Grace Bryant Dover, SO, of Cedar City Monday, Jan. 2 at the Cedar Ninth Ward. She died at her home in Cedar City on Thursday, Dec. 29 of natural causes, Mrs. Dover was born Jan. 8, 18S0 in St. Louis, Mo. to Richard John and Clara Jane Jones Bryant. Bry-ant. She married Horace Alvin' Dover April 30, 1901 in Cedar City j and the marriage was later sol- j emnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He died April 3, 19-18. She was active in the LDS Church and particularly in the Relief Society organization. At the services a history of Mrs. Dover was given by Joan Skinner and a tribute was given by a grandson, Clyde Dover, and remarks were given by Merrill Kunz, bishop's counselor, and by Bishop Max J. Payne, who presided. pre-sided. Special musical numbers included in-cluded a vocal trio, Ruth Beten-son, Beten-son, Rhea Heaton, and Aleene Alder singing "Star of the East;" a vocal solo, "The Lord's Prayer," by Shirley Kennicott, and a vocal solo, "The End of a Perfect Day," by Ralph Hafen. In addition the Ninth Ward Singing Mothers sang two songs, "Home, Sweet Home," and "Peace I Leave With You." Prayer at the mortuary was by Don Ray Melling. Invocation at the services was by Chester Cripps and the benediction by Ronald Green. Dedication of the grave at the Cedar City cemetery was by Keith Cripps. Survivors are: sons and daughters, daugh-ters, Otto H., Ogden; William B., Richard B., KentfB., Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence (Mabel) Cripps, Mrs. Darwin Dar-win (Irissa) Nelson, Mrs. Ray (Genevieve) Moiling, Mrs. Orwin (Clara) Green, Mrs. Wallace (Grace) Osborne, all of Cedar City. Also surviving are 42 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, and four great-greatgrandchildren. Sisters surviving include: Mrs. |
