Recently, the students un- ' dertook a study of the recent " incident of the capture of the USS Pueblo by North Korea, i and they tell of the study in the following story presented by the class. "The USS Pueblo, with an , 83 man crew, was captured and taken to Wonson, North Korea, on Jan. 23, 1968. We followed up on this article in the newspapers, on radio and. television. Also, in our Junior Scholastic we read the article it had published about the Pueblo. "We became very interested In what was happening. But then the articles and information infor-mation quit coming. We decided de-cided to write the representatives representa-tives of Utah to ask them what had happened and why there hadn't been any information infor-mation about the problem. "We, as American citizens, feel that we ought to know what is happening and what is being done withour 83 man crew. Though we realize what is being done with our 83 man secret information, we would like to know if anything is being done." Students Mr. Lamoreaux's Fifth Grade East Elementary |
