Farm al lotment notices will be mailed from the county office about i the middle of July. The county allotments are based on a national wheat acreage allotment of 59.3 million mil-lion acres. In announcing the wheat allotment al-lotment recently, Secretary of Agriculture Orville L. Freeman Free-man said the present supply-demand supply-demand outlook indicates 59.3 million acres will meet all domestic and export needs adequately. He said the allotment al-lotment could be modified later this summer if a significant signi-ficant change in either world supplies or U. S. crop outlook out-look warrants. A national allotment of 59.3 million acres, with average weather, would provide a crop ! of about 1.5 million bushels. It reflects a 55 million acre allotment plus 4.3 million acres for small-farm increases, Chairman Christensen said. |
