Show Antelope Hunting Applications Available years to apply for another antelope permit. Application dates for elk, moose, buffalo, and bighorn sheep will be August 7 through 17, 1967. Under terms outlined in the 1967 big game hunting proclamation, proc-lamation, hunters may apply by mail only, beginning July 17, for one of the 125 antelope permits authorized by the Board of Big Game Control. Permits were authorized on seven hunting units for bucks only. Buck antelope are animals ani-mals with horns longer than their ears. Hunting units and permits available are as follows: Bon- j anza, 30 permits; Cedar City, 10 permits; Daggett, 30 permits; per-mits; Promontory, 5 permits; Snowville, 5 permits; Southwest South-west Desert, 30 permits; West Desert, 15 permits. Season dates for all antelope ante-lope hunts will be August 19, 20, 21 and 26, 27, 28. Application Applica-tion deadline for antelope permits per-mits will be midnight, July. 22. Successful applicants will be determined at a public drawing to be held at 9 a. m., July 26, at the Fish and Game Division office in Salt Lake City. Only residents of Utah may make application and any resident res-ident who held a permit in 1965 or 1966 is not eligible this year. Applications must include your name, address, big game license number and choice of hunting unit. No money will be accepted with the application applica-tion this year. Successful applicants ap-plicants will be notified and must then send the proper fee. Any application not received by the deadline of July 22 or incorrectly filled out will be rejected and any person whO draws a permit but fails to send ihe fee in by August 8 will lose their permit and will not be eligible for two more |
