Mrs. Robert Johnson of Salt Lake City is spending a few days here with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Orien Speirs and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Sherratt spent a few days in St. George last week. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Lowry and children are spending this week in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Veda Matheson On Saturday evening of last week, a wedding reception was held in the Enoch Ward church for Mr. and Mrs. Ward C. Boyd, Jr., who were married earlier in the day in the St. George Temple. Mrs Boyd is the former Rosalee Grimshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grimshaw. Coming from out of town were members of the bride's family, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Christensen and four girls, of Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Linda Burke and son Johnnie of TemDe. went to Salt Lake City Friday to spend some time with Kent and Mary Ann Terry and their new baby girl. The baby was born last week, making first-time first-time grandparents of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw . Mrs. Grimsnaw was accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Nancy Chapman Chap-man and baby Caroline, who went to spend a week in Salt Lake City with Nancy's parents. Dennis Chapman was a chaperone with the group of Seminary students who went to Salt Lake City Saturday. Ariz.; Worth and Ron Grimshaw, Grim-shaw, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Georgia Moyle, Beryl, and Mrs. Barbara Adams and Mrs. Elaine Adams and children of Parowan. Members of the bridegroom's family who came were Mr. and Mrs. Ward C. Boyd, Sr. and Mrs. Marcine Shumway of Cody, Wyoming, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Benson of Orem. Also here were friends of the bride and bridegroom, Ms-lody Ms-lody Esch, Pauline Douglas, Cathy Wood, Al Dietrich, and also Ann Grimshaw, daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw. Ward and Rosalee will make their home in Key-port, Key-port, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Max L. Maxwell Max-well of Bountiful visited over the weekend with Mr and Mrs. Lewis Maxwell and family. Ivan Matheson was in Salt Lake City on business Friday. The Enoch Ward Elders group held a party and buffet buf-fet supper Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. La-Mar La-Mar Matheson. Mrs. Maurine Grimshaw Among the students who participated in the Junior High School closing program Friday evening were 12 form the Enoch and Midvalley area. These included Geoffrey Nielson, Gary Wilcken, Mark Christiansen, Gay and Louise Grimshaw, Vicky and Angela Matheson, Sara Nelson, Peggy Baird, Michael Sherratt, Mar-lene Mar-lene Jenson and Brenda Gar-bcr. Gar-bcr. There were 13 students from this area among the graduates of the Cedar High School who received diplomas Monday evening. Also ten students from the area to graduate from four-yMr Seminary and 11 from three-year Seminary. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maxwell received word from California last week of the birth - of a baby boy to Mr. and Mrs. Leon Maxwell. The Enoch Ward Relief Society So-ciety closing social was held Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Edna Hatch of Parowan gave the lesson, followed by a program.
