Show 1 : PAUL DOTSON Dotson Is Recipient Of Coveted Duty to God Award On Sunday, May 26, Taul Dotson received his Duty to God Award, which was pre- sented to him by Bishop1 Vcrl" Taylor at the Sacrament meeting meet-ing of the Third Ward. Paul is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Dotson, and his mother and father participated in the presentation ceremony. I Paul has been an active' member of the Third Ward forj the past two years and has) held several offices In his Priesthood quorums, including includ-ing president of his Deacon's quorum and first counselor in his Teacher's quorum. He has also been active In scouting, currently holding the rank of Life in Troop 343 of the Third Ward. His hobbies are music and athletics with golf as his main current interest. He recently re-cently had the opportunity of i playing in the Class B State 1 Golf tournament at the Timp Golf Course in Provo as a , member of the Parowan High School's gold team. To earn this award a member mem-ber of the LDS Church has to earn the Aaronic Priesthood Certificate of Achievement in each of four years; attend Sunday School at least 75 of the time during each of these four years, and also at least 75 of the regular YMMIA meeting during the same four years. He must be an officially official-ly registered boy scout, senior sen-ior scout or explorer for each ! of the four years. He must be between 12 and 18 years of age. |
