Show I. Leonard Tophams Honored on 50th Anniversary By Hilma Lamoreaux The family of Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonard Topham of Para-gonah Para-gonah is honoring their parents par-ents on their 50th wedding anniversary an-niversary with a social to be held in the Paragonah Ward Cultural Hall Saturday, June 1 at 8:30 p. m. They invite friends, relatives rela-tives and neighbors to join them for the occasion. There will be a short program and dancing. The family requests no gifts. Carmen Evans and J. Leonard Leon-ard Topham were married on June 5, 1918 in he Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have both been active in church and civic civ-ic affairs. Mr. Topham served a mission mis-sion for the LDS Church and was the first scoutmaster in Paragonah. He was assistnat superintendent of the ward Sunday School. Mrs. Topham is a charter member and has been active in the American Legion Auxiliary, Aux-iliary, served as president of the Ward Primary and YV-MIA. YV-MIA. She was secretary of the Ward Relief Society and class leader for the visiting teachers. teach-ers. She also served as Stake secretary of the YWMIA organization or-ganization under three presidents. pres-idents. They are the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Blaine (Alice) Jones of Paragonah and Mrs. Harold (Marilyn) Bradshaw of Beaver.
