Visitors this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clif-ton Hulet were Ramona's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Pris-brey Pris-brey of New Harmony, and also her brother and his family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Pris-brey, Pris-brey, also of New Harmony. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jensen of Salt Lake City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tullis. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Thomas Thom-as and family of Enterprise were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Cassie Christen-sen. Christen-sen. Mrs. Christensen also visited at the Thomas home this week. Week end visitors at the home of Mrs. Bea Piatt were Mr. -and Mrs. , Dean Hall of . New Harmony, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince of New Harmony, and Mrs. Lavona Baker and family of Moapa, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reber of Mesquite, Nev., were visitors visit-ors last week at the home of their daughter and her family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Morton and family of Summit were visitors last week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Miss Kathie Knell was home last week end with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Knell. Kathie has been working Jn , Salt Lake City since she fin-J ished her nursing studies. Mrs. Norma Christensen Mrs. Nita Rae Hulet flew to Salt Lake City last week where she attended a training school there for her work at the Escalante Valley Electric Association. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Burns and family of Cedar City were visitors vis-itors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Verl Woolsey. Mrs. Bea Piatt and family traveled to Moapa and Las Vegas last week where they visited friends and attended the Heldorado festivities there, I Mr. and Mrs. William Hart and family of Cedar City were visitors last week In town at the home of their son and i na Hulet Pedersen, and Mrs. Marilyn Hulet Tullis. The Lions Club zone social was held Saturday night in Zlon's National Park. Lion members attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet, Mrs. Bea Piatt, Mr. and Mrs. Trusten Hart, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Woolsey, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walters. Wal-ters. Mrs. Beverly Evans and little lit-tle daughter Debbie from Cedar Ce-dar City visited over the week end with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Rusell Christensen. Another An-other daughter, Janice, was wife, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hart. They also visited with Charles Char-les and Trusten and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Hulet attended the funeral services last week In New Harmony for Ramona's grandmother, Mrs. Simons. The Escalante Valley School held their spring festival last week with all of the school children participating. A delightful de-lightful program was presented present-ed with refreshments being served after. I The Seminary graduation was held last Thursday night. Those receiving diplomas from here were Janet and Madeline Tullis, daughters of Mrs. Mary Tullis; Sophia Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Jones; Joy Woolsey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verl Woolsey; and Mrs. Donna Hulet Hul-et Pedersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet. i The Cedar Junior High School closing exercises were held Friday night. Those leaving the ninth grade were Joan Tullis, daughter of Mrs. Mary Tullis; Becky Christensen, Christen-sen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen; Rita Hulet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet; and Leon Piatt, son of Mrs. Bea Piatt.
