Show Third Ward Plans Dinner and Creative Arts Show The Third Ward is planning a party for all its members it is announced by the bishopric with the event to be held on Tuesday, June 4. This social will be sponsored and put on by the Ward MIA organizations organiza-tions headed by Mrs. Merna Mitchell and Norman Day. They announce that it will be an outdoor party and that there will be a carnival, con-sessions con-sessions and a fish pond for all ages, with the purpose of the event being to raise funds for the MIA Camp fee. There will also be a creative crea-tive arts exhibit with all members of the ward urged to contribute to the exhibit. Officers Of-ficers state that there will be people at the cultural hall on Monday from 2 to 4 p. m.; on Tuesday from 10 to 12 a. m. and 2 to 3 p. m. to receive the exhibits and arrange them for viewing. A ward dinner will be held with the serving to begin at 6 p. m. and all members of the ward are urged to attend, and bring their own eating utensils uten-sils and a quilt to sit on. j |
