UlXMIMiJL, i JAMES ANDERSON TO RETIRE Parowan Lions Prepare June Horse Show The Parowan Lions Club Is now getting plans under way for Its second annual Quarter Horse Show, which has been scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Sat-urday, June 23 and 24, according accord-ing to Ted Burton, publicity and advertising chairman for the event. The two-day show will be held under the auspices of the show inserted in the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain horse show magazine maga-zine prior to the meet and these blanks can be torn out and used to enter animals In the show. Also Mr. Burton informs in-forms us that application blanks will be available from members of the sponsoring organization or-ganization in the very near future. American and Utah Quarter Horse Associations, with two full days of equestion contests, being arranged by the committee com-mittee in charge. Members of the general committee are as follows: Trent Jones, general chairman; chair-man; Ramon Bentley and Eugene Eu-gene Robb, co-secretaries and record keepers; Alan Stones, Steward, and Burton, advertising adver-tising and publicity chairman. Another appointment was announced an-nounced by the club this wek, that of Glen L, Halterman as master of ceremonies, Burton also states that in conjunction with the Quarter Horse Show, the club will also hold a cutting horse show. This will be held with the approval ap-proval of the Intermountain and Utah Cutting Horse Association, Asso-ciation, and should bring a number of the finest cutting horses in the West to participate partici-pate In the Parowan event.
