Show Anderson to Retire After 14 Years 01 School Service A man who has doubled as bus driver, custodian, carpenter, carpen-ter, gardner and friend to student stu-dent and teacher alike at the Parowan High School, is retiring re-tiring from all those jobs in June, 1967. This man is James H. Anderson An-derson of Paragonah, who lias worked in the school district for the past 31 years. Each year appreciation for him has grown, it is announced by officials of-ficials and students at the school. Mr. Anderson is a finished carpenter, having received his education at the old Murdock Academy in Beaver. This has made it possible for him to build countless beautiful articles ar-ticles our schools would have had to be without because of forbidding costs. He enjoys working with his hands, and is always busy. Retirement will not hang heavily on him as he has numerous nu-merous hobbies and interests. His most unusual hobby is mathematics he enjoys figuring. fig-uring. He never lets his books get behind and is meticulous In this work. He is a true rock hound and Is just waiting for the day when he can start polishing them. He also intends to do I some farming which includes raising some animals. |
