Show Final Tribute Paid Erma W.Holt At Enterprise May 6 ERMA HOLT Erma Elizabeth Woods Holt, 70, died at the Dixie Pioneer Memorial Hospital in St. George Wednesday, May 3, of a heart ailment- She was born December 11, 1896 at Barclay, Bar-clay, Lincoln County, Nevada, to Lamond Cresson and Elizabeth Eliza-beth Terry Woods. Her mother died when she was 12 years of age and she was left to help with the responsibilities of caring for her brothers and father. fa-ther. She was married to Heb-er Heb-er M. Holt March 27, 1918. She has filled many civic and church positions in her lifetime, including 1st vice president of American Legion Auxiliary, 2nd vice captain of i DUP for many years, Junior Sunday School Coordinator, Uvada Stake Missionary, teacher in MIA, Primary and Sunday School and a Relief Society visiting teacher all her married life. She had been an active worker in genalogy and member of her ward choir all her adult years. Funeral services were held at the Enterprise chapel Saturday, Satur-day, May 6. Burial was at Holt Ranch cemetery. She is survived by her husband, hus-band, Heber, and the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Mrs. Richard (Elaine) Jones, Heber Wayne, Escalante Valley; George Stanford, Enterprise; Mrs- Gene (Phyllis) Nelson, Weed Heights, Nev., and Mrs. Bernard (McVoy) Hafen, Las Vegas. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and the following follow-ing brothers and sister: Albert, Richard, Las Vegas; Fred and Maron, Mesquite, Nev.; Eugene, Eu-gene, Panaca, Nev., and Mrs. Arthur (Orilla) Hafen, St. George. |
