Show Lucille Hunt Chosen Coed of Month At St. George College LUCILLE HUNT ESCALANTE VALLEY Lucille Hunt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray V. Hunt of Beryl, has been chosen Co-ed of the Month ol March at Dixie College. Lucille has been very active in school and civic affairs. As a freshman she was vice president of her class, and this year she is second vice president of the student stu-dent body and chairman of the sociability committee. In 1958 she was named "Miss Escalante Valley" and was featured fea-tured In the Iron County Fair Parade. She was recently chosen as one of the attendants to the Dixie Queen for the Spring Festival. Fes-tival. Lucille has been recognized as one of Utah's outstanding 4 -Hers for a number of years. She is a three-time winner In the "Make It Yourself with Wool," contest, having won a trip to Salt Lake City twice In the junior division, and last year representing Washington County in the senior division. Lucille gives much of the credit cre-dit for her successes to her early ear-ly training In 4-H leadership, and to her leaders Edith Hunt and Marilyn Holt. Since this is National 4-H Achievement Week we saluate her, both for her being be-ing selected as Co-ed of the Month, and for her many accomplishments ac-complishments In 4-H Club work. |
