Show ORDINANCE I The matter of the application' of the Escalante. Valley Electric Association, Inc., for a franchise to install and maintain a gasj distributing system, having been presented to the County Commis-sioners, Commis-sioners, NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED OR-DAINED by the County Commissioners Commis-sioners of Iron County that a franchise be granted as hereinafter herein-after set out: Section 1. The Escalante Valley Val-ley Electric Association, Inc., shall be and it is hereby granted grant-ed a franchise for twenty years from the date of the acceptance j of this Ordinance as herein provided pro-vided with full riRht, power and authority to establish, construct and operate a gas plant of mains, pipe and other apparatus and appliances within the location' hereinafter described in, over and! upon all streets, alleys and public pub-lic places within said area for the purpose of generating and furnishing to the inhabitants of said area gas for light, heat, power and other' purposes and for such purpose to enter upor. and use said streets, alleys, highways high-ways and public places of said area and to maintain and operate oper-ate therein said gas mains, lines, and apparatus as may be neces sary, subject to the conditions set out in the application of the Escalante Valley Electric Association, Asso-ciation, Inc. Section 2. The grantee of said Ordinance shall first, before they commence the Installation of any gas line or pipe line, submit to the County Commissioners, or an officer designated by them, a map and outline showing the streets and alleys and public places where said pipe line is laid and showing the exact location loca-tion on said pipe line of any service connection. Section 3. After the Installation Installa-tion of said gas distributing system sys-tem as herein provided they shall pay to Iron County an an-j an-j nual license foe of $2.00. i Section 4. This franchise Is not transferable or assignable without with-out the consent of the County Commissioners, except that it may be conditionally assigned as security in order to get finic-ling finic-ling to Install said system. This franchise ordinance shall become effective after posting or publishing pub-lishing the same as provided by law. Section 5. The area covered by this franchise is described as follows: fol-lows: Townships 32 to 37 Inclusive In Range 14 West. Townships 32 to 36 inclusive In Range 15 West. Townships 32 to 36 Inclusive in Range 16 West Townships 32 to 36 inclusive in Range 17 West Townships 32 to 36 inclusive in Range 18 West Townships 32 to 36 inclusive In Range 19 West. Townships 32 to 36 inclusive in Range 20 West, to the extent that the above described de-scribed area Is in Iron Couny. Section 6. The franchise granted grant-ed herein may be terminated by the County Commissioners of Iron County upon failure of the applicant to comply with the conditions set forth In the appli-1 caion, or upon failure to comply! with any other conditions set forth in this Ordinance, after the1 applicant has been notified of the causes of termination and a chance to appear and be heard before said commission before any termination shall be effective. effect-ive. Be it further ordained ordain-ed that upon the passing of the motion granting this franchise the commissioners shall sign the said franchise, the clerk shall attest to it and attached to it shall be the application of the applicant, a certified copy of which will be presented to the, applicant Upon motion of Commissioner Earl Bunn, seconded by Commissioner Commis-sioner Myron F. Illgbee. the Chairman of the Board of Iron County Commissioners on the granting of said Ordinance the vote Is called as follows: Commissioners voting AYE, Clarence E. Miller Myron F.
