Show JANUARY 25 VOWS Jacqueline Boss Given in Marriage Kcverand and Mrs. Norman Boas announce the marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline, to Udell Roberts, Jr. of Jacksonville, Jackson-ville, Fla on Jan. 25. The couple received their marriage mar-riage vows In the Prayer Chapel . n the campus of Evangel Col-Ure. Col-Ure. Springfield, Mo. Rev. Nor-man Nor-man Boss, father of the bride, performed the single ring cere-money cere-money In the presence of fifty gacsta. Mikle Boss, brother of the bride; lighted the seven white tapers which were held In place by a tall candleabra decorated with a large bouquet of white - chrysanthemums. Preceding the wedding march, two songs, "I Love Thee" and "Because" were sung. Bed and white were the colors chosen by the bride. Her dress was of white brocaded taffe'a with a short full skirt, long tapered tap-ered sleeves and V neckline. The veil was held in place by a tiara ti-ara of seel pearls and the bridal bouquet was made up of a white orchid and red roses carried on a white Bible. Mrs. Robert Stratton of Cedar City, sister of the bride, was matron ma-tron of honor. She wore a sheath dress of red wool and her wrlsl corsage was of white carnations. The flower girl, Twilla Davis of Springfield, Mc, was dressed in ted taffeta and white eyelet organdy. or-gandy. She carried a long stemmed stem-med red rose from the bride's bouquet Mr. Jack Cook, also of Springfield, was best man. The bride was given in marriage mar-riage by her maternal grandfather. grand-father. Ward Pulver of Denver, CoIol Daring the ceremony, Clifford Sanies sang, 'Together" as the mrpie knelt on a white satin pillow before the altor. Immediately following the wedding wed-ding a reception was held In the recreation hall which was decor- ated In red and white. The two-tiered two-tiered wedding cake was also done in the red and white motif. mo-tif. Misses Ruth Krosch and La Vonne Brown served the wedding cake and fruit punch to the guests. Miss Lois Vatne had charge of the guest book. Out of town guests at the wed-lng wed-lng included the maternal grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Pulver, Pul-ver, Atr. and Mrs. Robert Stratton Strat-ton and son. snrl Rev. and Mrs. Norman Boss and Mikle aii cf Cedar City. The bride was a graduate of Cedar City High School where she was active in drama, speech, art and music. During the past one and one-half years she has attended Evangel College where she majored in art. The bridegroom, upon completion comple-tion el his graduation, spent two years in the Navy before enrolling en-rolling as an art major at Evangel Evan-gel College. The young couple are now living liv-ing in Jacksonville, Fla., where they expect to make their home.i |
