Show Automobile Crashes Into Station Pumps A parked automobile, owned by Richard Sheppard, salesman for Dixon Paper Co., rolled free from Its parked position in front of the Sullivan's El Rey Cofe at 6:30 a. m. and rammed Into the gas pumps of the Lunt Motor Mo-tor Service Station, causing an estimated $150 damage to the car and $50 to the pas pumps. It was reported by Tony Lambert, Lam-bert, Cedar City police chief. The car, apparently bumped, rolled backwards Into the street and traveled a distance of half a block, crossed from the west side from the El Rey Cafe and hit Into the service station gas pumps on the east. Sheppard was cited for failure to set brakes properly, however, some evidence was shown that the car had been jarred from Its parked position, the police chief stated. |
